Where I lived prior to the disease
This is the country I lived for about a year. Perhaps I would still be living there if it wasn't for my disease. I think it's culturally the most colourful country of the entire continent. See for yourself at the Home page for Suriname. By the way, I lived in Paramaribo. If you want to see something of this city I suggest you take the tour.

How our ancestors lived in the northern Netherlands
Some 5000 years ago we used to build Dolmens or in Dutch: Hunebedden. We still don't understand how they did it, those stones easily weigh 20 tons! Watch for the word plaatjes (images).

The far views of our country
Lighthouse animation Nowadays I'm back again in the area I was born. The province Groningen is one of the quietest places of the Netherlands. There are no hills or trees. At clear nights we see the light of many lighthouses. One of my virtual neighbors has a very entertaining page about these lighthouses, take a look: The Homepage of Lighthouses.
